Laptop Ninja
A blog FOR Laptop Ninjas, not about them. A Laptop Ninja is a cousin of the more common Web Ronin. As a solitary figure who's skills with computer technology and design, the Laptop Ninja survives by performing contract work from cafes, public parks, and sometimes rooftops. The Laptop Ninja's sword is his 802.11 connection, his iPod his throwing stars, and his Bluetooth cellphone his Nunchucks. All of which are usually carried in a discreet messenger bag.

Swollen Data

I like things that give real world impressions of virtual information, that's why I think this is such an awesome product that 'Random Good Stuff' pointed me to. The flashbag from plusminus design is your standart USD key when empty, but it's got a little pump inside that inflates the outer shell as data is loaded onto it. This gives you an immediate sense of how much spave is left in it just by looking at it.

It even stays pumped up when the device is powered down, so you can tell at a glance if there's enough room to even bother mounting the drive.

It's a good thing that the flashbag comes with 2Gigs of space, you can imagine the mess of 0s and 1s if it were to overfill and pop with data.
